LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The former Mayor of San Francisco, Willie Brown, has expressed his opinion that President Joe Biden should resign and pass the presidential duties to Vice President Kamala Harris.

Brown, a Democrat who was romantically involved with Harris in the mid-1990s, informed reporters that her chances of defeating Trump would be significantly improved if she were the incumbent president.

“Her chances go up if he would at this moment say not only am I no longer the candidate, I’m no longer the president — she is,” Brown said, according to the San Francisco Standard.

Brown added that it would “silence all of this nonsense about how best to select some new nominee,” which would alleviate the chaos that the party has been in since Biden withdrew from the race on Sunday, July 21.

“When they watch Kamala Harris exchange views with Trump, there’ll be no question. The gender of the candidate will not make the difference,” Brown expressed his hope for an all-female ticket and suggested Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer as a potential vice-presidential candidate.

On July 22, Governor Whitmer expressed her desire to "stay in Michigan" and declined consideration for the vice presidency.

TV host Montel Williams says he'll vote for Kamala Harris to get rid of Trump

Television host Montel Williams has expressed his intention to vote for any candidate capable of defeating Donald Trump in the upcoming November election. If the Democrats nominate Kamala Harris, it seems he is ready to support her, TMZ reported.

He also highlighted that he retweeted Governor Moore's endorsement of Kamala, which ostensibly shows his support for her.

Montel Williams did not endorse Kamala Harris for President following Joe Biden's withdrawal from the race, despite their past relationship, a topic he prefers not to discuss with the media.

The former talk show host, known for a fleeting liaison with the Vice President in the early 2000s, recently addressed JB's departure with a strong endorsement of a candidate other than Kamala, amid speculation that she is the leading contender for the Democrats.

Montel has expressed his support for Maryland Governor Wes Moore, who has made a statement regarding the recent revelations. Although he has not officially entered the race, it appears that Montel is firmly in support of Moore.

Moore wrote ... "I’d love to see @iamwesmoore leading the ticket or otherwise on my ballot and I’m ready to campaign. I’ve watched @GovWesMoore lead my home state of Maryland, and I know leadership when I see it."

Montel seemed to already know that he'd be inundated with media requests about his time with Kamala -- and he got ahead of it by warning reporters to NOT ask him about it ... otherwise, his press team would torch 'em.

He drove the point home with his writing, as per TMZ, "I’ve said what I’m going to say about the thing that keeps trending. My friends in the media should think twice about wasting time on a 20+ year old picture - you will find doing so will earn an unpleasant reaction."

Montel's public relations representative shared a screenshot of a conversation with a journalist who had made an inquiry, labeling it as "utterly inappropriate." It appears that any similar actions by others could result in their communications being made public.

Internet slams Willie Brown for suggest Joe Biden should step down as President

Internet lambasted Willie Brown for saying Joe Biden should elect Kamala Harris as President.

One user wrote, "That's the dumbest thing I've heard so far!"

Another user added, "Ex mayor of San Francisco Willie Brown will then be appointed to cleanup of the mess there. He will be FABULOUS."

The third commentator wrote, "Brown just wants to be able to say that he did to the president what she wants to do to us."

"Willie is 90 years old and with this idiotic take, is in obvious mental decline. He and President Dementia should compare notes on how they managed to grift voters for close to 100 years combined," a person remarked.
