Kanye West says nobody wants to pay for good music after failing to secure tour venues in Europe and Asia
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kanye West has recently been complaining that nobody wants to pay for good music after the ‘Runaway’ rapper was reportedly banned from concert venues in Europe and Asia.
The Yeezy founder was seemingly looking for an overseas venue to hold a concert for his 'Vultures 1' album, as per The US Sun.
Amid this, the controversial rapper shared a series of posts by musician and his frequent collaborator, James Blake, who took to X (formerly Twitter) to vent out his frustration regarding the current state of the music industry and artists.

Kanye West shows support as James Blake points out the struggles faced by musicians
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Blake wrote, "Something I keep seeing is ‘if you’re lucky enough to go viral, just use the exposure to generate income some other way,'" before adding, "Musicians should be able to generate income via their music. Do you want good music or do you want what you paid for?"

Do you want good music or do you want what you paid for?
In another post, the 'Coming Back' singer continued, "If we want quality music somebody is gonna have to pay for it. Streaming services don’t pay properly, labels want a bigger cut than ever and just sit and wait for you to go viral, TikTok doesn’t pay properly, and touring is getting prohibitively expensive for most artists."

Kanye West has apparently been banned from several venues in Europe and Asia
The US Sun revealed that the West approached several venues in the European cities of Madrid, Berlin, Cologne, and Munich but was not allowed a single location. He even failed to secure venues in Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
An insider with direct knowledge of the situation recently shared with the outlet that "it will be very, very hard" for the 'I Wonder' rapper to arrange a venue owing to "his reputation and the controversies in the last few years."
"Now almost no companies that manage arenas or stadiums want to allow him to do shows on their venues," added the insider.
West has long been courting controversies following his antisemitic rants and his comments on Hitler and Jesus. He has also faced backlash for the controversial attire choices of his wife, Bianca Censori.
Kanye West fans request rapper to arrange a tour
While West seemingly agreed to Blake's claim of people not wanting to pay for good music, his fans soon took to social media to demand tour dates.
One said, "I want to boycott concerts at this point. Let me know when Kanye west goes on tour that’s it," and another added, "I wanna go to a Kanye west concert so bad!! He need to go on tour."
A person requested, "Kanye West please tour in Singapore," while someone else noted, "Announce tour dates asap please."
