Kanye West celebrates billionaire status, honors Donald Trump, Grammys, trolls Kamala Harris
According to reports, Ye has surpassed JAY-Z as the most wealthy rapper alive and regained his position among hip-hop's billionaire elite. The fashion tycoon and renowned artist celebrated his alleged $2.77 billion net worth on Instagram on January 23.
He seemed to be enjoying his financial comeback as he captioned the photo with the words "LAA LA LA LA" and credited to the valuation firm Eton Venture Services for the amount.
Eton claimed that Ye's large music library and complete possession of the Yeezy trademark are the reasons behind his comeback.

Ye lost his billionaire status in 2022 after Adidas severed their relationship with him due to his antisemitic comments, ending their profitable Yeezy collaboration.
The partnership was estimated by Forbes at the time to have contributed $1.5 billion of his $2 billion fortune.
His estimated worth fell to $400 million due to the split. In an interview with TMZ in 2024, Ye said that the financial setback almost put him out of business.
"I was two months from going bankrupt, really… And we survived. We survived through the cancellation," he said at the time.
