WASHINGTON, DC: White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt was trolled on Instagram after she boasted about her husband and their son in a post on Sunday, March 9, reported The Mirror US.

The 27-year-old, the youngest person in history to hold her current office, is married to Nicholas Riccio, 59. The couple fell in love and got engaged in December 2023. After getting married in a private ceremony, they welcomed a child, son Nicholas "Niko" Robert, on July 10, 2024.

Trolls flood Karoline Leavitt's sweet post about her husband and their son

Karoline Leavitt's post about her husband and son surprisingly led to her being attacked on Instagram.

"Can you let us taxpayers know the total cost of Trumps golf games ? I mean you are so concerned about saving us $$ lol," wrote a user, possibly referring to a recent report on taxpayers shelling out millions for President Donald Trump's golf trips.

A person wrote, "Every day, the Trump administration isolates America a little more, cutting it off from its allies and bringing it closer to its enemies. It's truly a sad spectacle to witness," while another said, "How do u sleep at night knowing u sold ur soul to the devil."

"Stock market down. Grocery prices up. Trump says stop talking about eggs prices. Measles cases up. WTH is going on?" one more questioned.

However, many came out in her support, such as a person writing, "How do you balance it all? It’s amazing what you’re doing!" and another saying, "Your family must be so proud of you."

"Keep up the great work. American is rooting for you!" one more expressed.

Nicholas Riccio, who is 32 years older than Karoline Leavitt, is a self-made multi-millionaire who amassed his wealth by building a real estate empire. The New Hampshire native transformed neglected waterfront spots in Hampton Beach into prime resort destinations.

Riccio Enterprises LLC was born in 2005 and took over 15 buildings in the same year. At present, he has nine rental homes in New Hampshire through Nautical Beach Rentals and one in West Virginia. His net worth stands at approximately $6 million.

In an interview, Riccio shared that he went through his share of hard times, bagging groceries post-college and taking a real estate course in 1990. With his success, he opened up about his new aim, saying, "My work in real estate has helped facilitate my dream of owning a professional sports team. And that will happen one day in the near future."
