LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kathy Bates, 76, has sparked concerns among fans after she appeared to shake while attending a presentation ceremony at the Golden Globes 2025.

The ‘Titanic’ star, who revealed last year that she has lost considerable weight after adopting a healthier lifestyle and subsequently Ozempic, showed off her slim figure during the glitzy event.

Bates, who was smartly decked up in a pair of black trousers with a sequined jacket, chose a pair of sneakers for her footwear. 

She styled her shoulder-length hair in a youthful updo that perfectly matched her vibrant personality. However, as the ‘Matlock’ star took to the stage, fans were left concerned with the actress’ health after she appeared to be shaking on stage.

As Kathy Bates took to the stage to present the Best Supporting Actress - TV award to 'Baby Reindeer's Jessica Gunning, 38, she was joined by ‘Twisters’ star Anthony Ramos, 33. 

However, several fans noticed that the Oscar winner was holding onto her co-presenter Ramos, which they speculated was probably because she wanted support on stage. 

Several fans questioned whether the actress - who was nominated in the Best Actress - Drama category for ‘Matlock’ - was ‘okay’ following her Ozempic weight loss. 

These health concerns come just three months after she opened up to People Magazine about her weight loss journey and shed light on the speculations regarding her Ozempic use. 

According to Daily Mail, the star lost a total of 80lbs after she focused on a healthier lifestyle after getting diagnosed with type 2 diabetes back in 2017.

Additionally, she lost another 20lbs when she opted for Ozempic. Speaking about her health journey, Bates shared with People, “There’s been a lot of talk that I just was able to do this because of Ozempic.”

“But I have to impress upon people out there that this was hard work for me, especially during the pandemic. It's very hard to say you've had enough,” shared the ‘Misery’ icon.
