CRYPTO ARENA, LOS ANGELES: Former Trump official Katie Miller criticized Justin Beiber and Hailey Bieber for wearing "ICE Out" pins during their appearance at the 2026 Grammys on Sunday, February 1.

Miller took to social media to insinuate the two were taking the stance as they benefit from the labour of undocumented immigrants in their household.

Miller questioned the couple's personal life on social media, asking, "Wonder how many illegal aliens they employ in their household?"

Miller, who has previously served as a deputy press secretary at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), appeared to be suggesting that those living in high-end celebrity circles might rely on the very workforce affected by the policies they were protesting.

The Biebers used their return to the red carpet to make a bold political statement against recent actions by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

By wearing the matching pins, they joined several other famous artists in protesting the agency's presence in the American cities.

These pins were worn to protest recent killings involving ICE officers during deployments in places like Minneapolis.

Other big stars, including Billie Eilish and Kehlani, also wore the pins to show they were upset with how immigration enforcement is being handled.

Biebers return to the red carpet since 2022

Marking their first joint appearance at a major awards show since 2022, the couple arrived at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena in coordinated black outfits.

Hailey Bieber opted for a custom strapless gown by Alaia, while Justin complemented her look in matching silver jewelry.

The night was particularly significant for Justin, who returned to the spotlight following the 2024 birth of the couple’s son, Jack Blues, and a successful year for his latest musical endeavors.
