TOKYO, JAPAN: Katy Perry and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau are now Instagram official, sharing personal photos from their recent trip to Japan.
The pop sensation posted an Instagram carousel on Saturday, December 6, featuring images and videos from the trip that included Trudeau.

The ‘Dark Horse’ singer gave fans a glimpse into her Japan visit, days after performing there on her ongoing 'Lifetimes' Tour.
The carousel, captioned "Tokyo times on tour and more ( ◠‿◠ ) 🎄🍣🐡🥞?☃️♥️," included an outdoor selfie of Perry and Trudeau cheek to cheek, both smiling widely. A short black-and-white video captured them eating together and sharing affectionate glances, while another clip showed the pair at an interactive art exhibition.
Justin Trudeau and Katy Perry join Fumio Kishida for lunch
During the trip, Perry accompanied Trudeau to a lunch meeting with former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife, Yuko, on Wednesday, December 3.
Kishida shared a photo of the group by a Christmas tree on X, referring to Perry as Trudeau’s "partner."
The former prime minister wrote in Japanese, "Former Canadian Prime Minister @JustinTrudeau visited Japan with his partner and joined my wife and me for lunch. During his time as prime minister, we met multiple times as fellow leaders, and when I visited Canada, we worked together to strengthen bilateral relations, including formulating the 'Japan-Canada Action Plan,' sweating it out side by side. I am delighted that we continue to maintain this friendship in this way."
Trudeau later reposted Kishida’s message, adding, "Great to see you @kishida230. Katy and I were so glad to have the chance to sit down with you and Yuko. Thank you, Fumio, for your friendship and your continued commitment to both the international rules-based order and to a better future for everyone."

Rumors of a romance between Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau first surfaced in the summer when they were spotted on a date in Montreal, Canada.
Perry subtly included Trudeau on her social media by posting an Instagram clip backstage at a concert where she received a birthday cake. Fans noticed Trudeau clapping and smiling in the background as she blew out the candles.
The couple reportedly made their first public appearance together on October 25, attending a cabaret show at Crazy Horse Paris for Perry’s birthday, according to TMZ.
