Katy Perry says daughter Daisy has started singing her songs
Katy Perry revealed that her young daughter has started belting out her hits at home.
“She actually just started singing 'Roar', and she’s belting it with her whole body. She’s like this tall and she’s like ‘Roar,’” Perry said on 'The One Show'.

The singer admitted it wasn’t only the child-friendly anthem Daisy had picked up. “On the flipside, she’s also singing 'Peacock'. Now I know what every parent went through in 2008, and I’m sorry for that,” Perry laughed.

“If I’m distracted or doing something and she’s already said, ‘Mom, Mom, Mom,’ by the third time she’ll go, ‘Katy Perry!’ And I’m like, ‘No! Don’t call me that!’” she said.
Presenter Alex Jones called Daisy’s cheeky comment “clever,” prompting Perry to laugh in agreement.
“It’s pretty funny. I’m like, no, I will only ever be ‘Mommy’ to you! I earned this. It’s hilarious,” Perry added during the chat.
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom remain focused on co-parenting after split
Katy Perry is keeping busy with her Lifetimes Tour, which began in Mexico in April and will wrap up in Abu Dhabi in December. The tour will include stops in London, Manchester, and Glasgow in October.

Earlier in 2025, reports confirmed that Perry and Bloom had ended their engagement. Since then, Bloom has posted motivational notes online, including one that read: “The important thing is to take the first step. Bravely overcoming one small fear gives you the courage to take on the next.”
Despite parting ways, the pair remain committed to raising Daisy together.

In a joint statement, representatives for the former couple confirmed: “They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is—and always will be—raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect.”
