Pop star Katy Perry, 40, and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, 53, were seen enjoying a cozy meal together at Le Violon restaurant in Montreal on Monday, July 28.
Photos captured from the dinner showed Perry leaning across the table, deeply engaged in the conversation.
An eyewitness told TMZ that security guards accompanied both Perry and Trudeau during their outing, "keeping tabs on both of them."
The publication confirmed that the two shared several dishes and cocktails, including one featuring lobster.
The duo also met with Chef Danny Smiles and later visited the kitchen to thank the restaurant staff personally.
Perry is currently on tour in Canada with shows in Ottawa and Montreal scheduled this week.
Katy Perry splits from Orlando Bloom after 10 years
The dinner with Justin Trudeau came just a month after Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom confirmed they had ended their engagement.
The former couple, who began dating in 2016, got engaged in February 2019 and welcomed daughter Daisy Dove in August 2020.
Despite their recent split, Perry and Bloom, 48, were seen posing together for a family photo with their daughter.
Their relationship had its ups and downs, including a breakup in March 2017 before reconciling in early 2018 with a trip to the Maldives.
