Kelly Clarkson's son Remy teases her over number of views after his cover of 'My Way' goes viral
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Kelly Clarkson's 8-year-old son Remy Blackstock had a cheeky comment for his celebrity mother after going viral for his singing on her show, People reported on Wednesday, January 8.
In November 2024, Remy accompanied his mother on the set of 'The Kelly Clarkson Show' where he entertained the audience with a rendition of Frank Sinatra's song 'My Way'. The clip of his performance has since raked up over 1.5 million views on YouTube.

Remy and his sister River Rose, 10, appeared on the Wednesday, January 8, episode of their mother's eponymous talk show, where she brought up the subject of his clip going viral.
"How did you feel about the clip going viral there? Remember when I came in and I told you, 'Everyone is loving your video!'" Kelly asked Remy, leading him to coyly reply, "Yeah, how much views did I get again?"
The response made Kelly and the audience burst into laughter. After collecting herself, the 'Since U Been Gone' singer shared, "I’m gonna tell you how it went down. I said, ‘Man, buddy, you’ve got over a million views on that I think.’ He goes, ‘Do you get that many views?’ I was like, ‘Calm down — and not often.’”

According to People, Kelly Clarkson welcomed her son on stage with her in August 2023 during a concert date at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. The then 7-year-old performed as a backup dancer for his mother as she performed her 2017 hit 'Whole Lotta Woman'.
The crowd adored the performance and began to chant Remy's name. Soon, they were gifted with another special performance as River came out for a duet of 'Heartbeat Song' with her mother Kelly.
Sharing her experience of performing on stage with her children, Kelly told People in 2024, "They were a little nervous, but it was their idea, not mine. I was like, ‘I feel like how you’re looking at me is how you watch Spider-Man.’ It caught me completely off guard, and it was the most magical moment because they were so happy and at ease. They were just in awe."
Kelly shares her two children with her former husband Brandon Blackstock, whom she divorced in 2020 after being married for seven years. In 2023, she moved to New York City with her children as a single mother.
