Kelly Osbourne claims Ozempic has a positive impact on mental well-being
Ozempic, also known as Wegovy which has been a popularly used weight loss drug in and out of Hollywood, impacts satiety after the drug works in the brain.
“I made some comments about Ozempic recently where it was like 50 percent of the people hated it, 50 percent of the people liked it,” Osbourne shared on her podcast.
"But the truth is, my opinion used to be the same as the people who didn’t like my opinion on Ozempic until I met somebody who lost weight from Ozempic and it changed their life," she continued.
"They explained to me how it took the mental obsession with food away and from that reprieve allowed them to dig deeper through therapy and really figure out who they were and how life-changing it was for them," she narrated.
“It completely changed my opinion on it so I’m like yeah, it’s great. If there’s a medication out there that can help people lose weight then what’s so bad about it?” added Osbourne, whose mother Sharon Osbourne warned against Ozempic.

Kelly Osbourne says people who hate Ozempic 'can't afford it'
Osbourne previously made a declaration of Ozempic's efficacy in February saying that the drug is "amazing," as reported by People.
"The people who hate on it the most are the people who are secretly doing it or pissed off that they can't afford it," the 39-year-old said at the time.
“Unfortunately, right now it's something that is very expensive but it eventually won't be because it actually works."
Defending the use of weight loss drugs, Osbourne said, "People hate on it because they want to do it."
"There are a million ways to lose weight, why not do it through something that isn't as boring as working out?" she explained.
The model who had gestational diabetes while pregnant with her son Sidney, has not disclosed whether she has taken Ozempic.
However, she has previously shared with her fans that her gastric sleeve surgery helped reduce her 85 pounds weight.
