BUCKINGHAMSHIRE, ENGLAND: Kelly Osbourne has broken her silence following the emotional and private funeral of her father Ozzy Osbourne, who died on July 22.

The late Black Sabbath frontman was laid to rest in a private ceremony held near a lake at his Buckinghamshire estate.

Kelly Osbourne shares her father Ozzy's life advice as she pays tribute to him

As loved ones gathered for the quiet farewell, Kelly Osbourne took to Instagram to post a striking three-word tribute to her father.

The tribute came in the form of a purple floral wreath placed near the water that read: “Ozzy F*****g Osbourne.”

In another post, Kelly shared a clip from the reality series 'The Osbournes', showing her father offering comforting words to her mother, Sharon Osbourne.

In the video, Ozzy is seen lying down as he gently tells Sharon, “Listen, all you gotta worry about is getting through today. That's all you gotta worry about,” while wearing his signature glasses.

"Just live each day to the fullest. Don't worry. You've gotta stop worrying," he is seen saying to a visibly distraught Sharon, who lies beside him in silence. "You're creating more problems than there already is," he adds to further comfort her.

A day before Ozzy Osbourne was interred, the family took part in a heartfelt procession through the streets of Birmingham.

Kelly was seen wearing purple wire-rimmed glasses, visibly holding back tears as she leaned on Sharon, who appeared overwhelmed with emotion during her first public appearance since Ozzy’s death on July 22 at age 76.

Sharon bent down at the Black Sabbath Bridge to place a single rose among the many floral tributes.

A source told the Daily Mail that Kelly kept a promise made to her father by staying strong throughout the public events.

“Of course there have been tears, but she promised her dad, who openly spoke about not wanting people to mourn but rather celebrate his life, that she would not crumble in public,” the insider told the outlet.

Kelly Osbourne remembers Ozzy as her ‘best friend’ after his death

Three days after her father's death, Kelly Osbourne shared a heartfelt message on her Instagram Stories.

"I feel unhappy I am so sad. I lost the best friend I ever had," she wrote.

Ozzy’s death was announced in a statement by the family, saying he was surrounded by loved ones during his final moments.



 

“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning," the family shared.

"He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time," the statement added.
