Consuelos, 53, embraced Kelce's “country club” vibe with a polo shirt, cardigan, and beige shorts, adding a faux Gucci bucket hat and a thick mustache for full effect.

Ripa and Consuelos shared with USA Today how they had to improvise to match Kelce’s high-end look.

“We don’t typically keep real Gucci there,” Ripa joked about LIVE’s costume closet, as Consuelos added with a laugh, “Who knows? He may see it and think, ‘Who’s that short guy trying to come off as me?’”

Though the 'Riverdale' actor has yet to meet Kelce, he hinted at the NFL player’s humor, saying, “He seems like a great guy.”

Ripa revealed that, at first, she had no idea her costume was meant to represent the 14-time Grammy-winning artist.

“I didn’t know what that was by the way, I didn’t know what he was and I didn’t know what I was.” Even when the wardrobe team placed the wig on her, she admitted she “still didn’t know” who she was supposed to be.

The realization hit when she came across a viral video of Swift, 34, and Kelce, 35, at the US Open. The married co-hosts, who have planned multiple costumes for Thursday’s show, also dressed up as the pop star and the NFL tight end for last year’s Halloween episode.
