LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Footloose' actor Kevin Bacon, who has a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award to his credit, celebrated his 66th birthday on July 8.

On this occasion, Bacon shared a bare-chested photo, exuding confidence and charm, on his Instagram.

The 'Leave the World Behind' actor also received heartfelt tributes from his celebrity friends and his wife, Kyra Sedgwick.

In the photo, Bacon shows off his abs, which are still in great shape. He's outdoors, leaning against what appears to be a rock.

He's wearing navy shorts and an unzipped black jacket. His unzipped jacket gives a clear glimpse of his toned physique.

Bacon seems to have taken care with the lighting, possibly even blocking out the sun to get the perfect shot. The location appears to be a beach.

He captioned the photo, "This is 66", along with a birthday cake emoji.

Meanwhile, actress Kyra Sedgwick, Bacon’s wife of over 35 years, marked the special occasion with a heartfelt tribute on her own Instagram feed. 

She shared a slideshow of photos spanning their years together, accompanied by a message that affectionately expressed, "If you were to ask me about bacon, I would say bacon is part of a balanced breakfast. But if you asked me on a deeper level, I would say, (Kevin) Bacon is the love of my life, my only one, happy birthday!" 

The post concluded with a nostalgic snapshot of the couple sitting in front of a wooden fence. "Bacon’s #1 fan. Happy Birthday @kevinbacon," wrote the Emmy winner in the caption.

Bacon and Sedgwick first met on the set of the 1988 PBS television film 'Lemon Sky' and married later that same year. They are proud parents to two children, Travis, 35, and Sosie, 32.
