Kevin Bacon reveals wife Kyra Sedgwick absolutely loved a 'super cute' anniversary gift he gave her

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kevin Bacon is elated that his wife Kyra Sedgwick "loved" an unusual gift he gave her on their anniversary. 

The ‘Footloose’ actor during his bonus episode of ‘Six Degrees with Kevin Bacon’ podcast shared, that he gifted Kyra Sedgwick a pair of goats during the pandemic.

Louie and Macon - a symbol of love

The pair named their pets Louie and Macon and celebrated them as symbols of love.

"During the pandemic, for some reason, I decided that for our anniversary, I should get Kyra some goats," Bacon said.

"So I went and got these miniature goats. There was two of 'em. They were super, super cute," he added.

The 'Hollow Man' star continued, "I put them in a stall down in the barn; I didn't tell her about it. I went down and said, 'I have a surprise for you for our anniversary.' I took her in the stall, and there were these two goats looking at her. And she loved them."

How many children does Kevin Bacon have?

The lovely couple tied the knot in 1988, and have been together ever since. Kevin and Kyra share two children, Travis Bacon, 34, and Sosie Bacon, 31.

The pets in the family have grown, and by last year, they had four goats, two pigs, three miniature horses, and three alpacas.

"Not to drop a name, but Jimmy Fallon had randomly sent me this instrument that was a three-stringed instrument. Almost like a Dobro — if anyone's familiar with that — with a droning tone on it. I started playing it, and one day I was trying to play this thing, I'm practicing it, I think I'll just go out and play it with the goats," Bacon said.

"I'm not quite sure if I was calming down because I was playing music or if the actual music was having any sort of effect on them, or if their energy was calming me down, but the whole thing felt right," the star said.

The actor often shares videos singing and playing guitar to their pets, "People were like, 'We love you singing with the goats.' Kevin and I are like, 'Great, have you seen our movies or TV shows?' "Sedgwick told People of the couple's viral TikTok clips in 2023. "But it makes people happy."

Bacon also announced that he no more consumes goat and pig products. "I love animals, they are a joy to be around, and they're very, very calming for me," he said.
