Kevin Costner and Sharon Stone openly flirted with each other at Governors Awards: ‘She winked at him’

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: There is reportedly something brewing between Kevin Costner and Sharon Stone as they appeared quite flirtatious with each other at the 2024 Governors Awards at Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday, November 17.

A mole disclosed, as reported by Daily Mail, “They started off polite with small talk then he put on his Kevin Costner charm, you know, like the vibes he gave off in Bull Durham and Tin Cup, like heyyyy baby.”

The source further shared, “Who knows if they went home together or even exchanged numbers, but it certainly looks like they liked each other a lot.”

“Sharon is such a class act, she handled the attention very well and was cute. She winked at him and was sweet,” the insider added.

The flirtatious exchange between the two A-list stars happened months after the ‘Basic Instinct’ actress publicly defended Costner amid his divorce battle with Christine Baumgartner.

After getting $129K a month in child support from the ‘Yellowstone’ actor, Baumgartner demanded more and asked for $161,592.

She shares sons Cayden, 16, and Hayes, 14, and 13-year-old daughter Grace with the 69-year-old filmmaker.

The 50-year-old showed images of her children’s lifestyle in the court as she mentioned, as per Hello!, “It’s so much more than this — it’s an experience. We’ve created quite a community.”

Besides, her lawyer supporting her added in the court that luxurious life is “in their DNA at this point”.

Mocking the claims, Stone reportedly wrote below an Instagram post that gave details of the court proceedings, “My ex thought the same.”

Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner split due to ‘irreconcilable differences’

The ‘Silver’ star was married to journalist Phil Bronstein. But in 2004, they divorced each other.

Also, their adopted son Roan’s custody was given to Bronstein. However, it was not clear if Stone paid any child support to her former husband.

Meanwhile, Costner and Baumgartner had been married for nearly two decades before the latter filed for divorce last year, citing "irreconcilable differences”.

Costner's representative shared in a statement, as per PEOPLE, “It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action.”

“We ask that his, Christine's, and their children's privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time,” they added.

Also, a source revealed at the time, “It was not anything that [Costner] wanted or sought, and if he could change the situation, he would.”
