Khloe Kardashian recalls heartbreaking time when Tristan Thompson's affair robbed her of normal birth
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Khloe Kardashian has recently opened up about the difficult time she faced after Tristan Thompson cheated on her, and just 48 hours later she gave birth to their daughter, True, on April 12, 2018.
The media personality shared her heartbreak with guest Mel Robbins on Wednesday, January 29, episode of her podcast ‘Khloe in Wonder Land’ and revealed the reason why she allowed her ex-boyfriend into the delivery room despite knowing the truth, as per PEOPLE.

Khloe Kardashian explains why she allowed Tristan Thompson in delivery room
During the show, Khloe Kardashian told Robbins, “I remember when Tristan had an affair, it was public and I gave birth 48 hours later. And people were like, ‘Do you want him in the hospital room when you’re giving birth?’ And it was my first baby and I said, ‘I do'.”
The Good American founder also went on to disclose that she asked everyone present during her delivery, including her siblings and mother, “to pretend.”

“I said, ‘We’re going to all…it’s going to be hard for you guys but let’s all act like this didn’t happen because my daughter’s going to see this home footage one day, and I don’t want her to ever see, to know,’” she stated.
Khloe Kardashian claims she did whatever was necessary at the time
Khloe Kardashian further explained that at the time, she was only thinking about True. “And I get sad if I ever see myself because I can tell I’m blank and it’s an out-of-body experience. I just went into autopilot. And I just went in, I’m not here, I was not present. But my body was there, I gave birth, I did what I had to do,” she noted.
The 40-year-old socialite added, “It was for her. I thought of her. I was like, ‘For her memories, I want her to know her dad was in the room'. And then when it was done, I was like, ‘I can’t talk to you’ when I put my home camera down. But I made sure to do what I needed to do for her.”
Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are also parents to a son
As per Us Weekly, the Canadian basketball player was involved with several women while Khloe Kardashian was pregnant.
However, despite his infidelities, Khloe did not end her relationship with Thompson.
Regarding her unusual decision, she reportedly told a Twitter fan in 2018, “Not exactly Queen Persia, you have no knowledge of what goes on in our household or the enormous rebuilding this takes to even coexist. I’m proud of my strength. I appreciate your opinion and I hope you hold that same opinion to everyone else who has stayed in situations.”

Besides, Khloe went on to have a son with him named Tatum on July 28, 2022, with the help of a gestational carrier.
