French Montana and Khloe Kardashian maintain friendly bond after breakup
Kardashian and Montana ended their relationship in 2014 after less than a year of dating. A source previously told PEOPLE that the rapper “wasn’t the perfect fit for her,” though the two remained on friendly terms.
In a 2019 interview with Haute Living, Montana described their bond as a “real dope relationship” and said there was “no bad blood” between them. He also reflected on how rare it is to maintain a friendship after a breakup, noting, “It’s very hard to keep a relationship after a breakup without it being weird,” while adding that he was glad they stayed close.
Montana later proposed to Mahra in June 2025, with the engagement revealed publicly in August through a press release. “Representatives confirm that while wedding plans are underway, specific dates and arrangements are still being finalized by both families, who are reportedly excited and supportive,” the release said.
