'Kid who had big dreams': Internet wishes Kevin Costner as he celebrates birthday with pic from 1st movie

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kevin Costner celebrated his birthday on Thursday, January 18, with a trip down the memory lane. The 'Yellowstone' star who turned 69 on Thursday, celebrated the milestone through a memorable Instagram post. 

The Oscar-winning star shared a snap of him from the first film of his career, 'Malibu Hot Summer'. Along with sharing a black-and-white snap of his smiling face from the 1981 movie, Costner called himself as the "kid who had big dreams."

The 'Dances With Wolves' star took to his Instagram to write, "Celebrating another year of life today and taking a moment to honor this kid who had big dreams. It’s hard to believe how far we’ve come."

Costner, who recently stirred the internet with rumors of his romance with Jewel, wrote, "Thank you all for the birthday wishes. It’s because of your support that I’ve been able to chase my dreams all these years."

As a testament to Costner's chasing his "dreams all these years," he headlined the massive hit show 'Yellowstone' for five seasons. 

While Costner is just a year shy to reach his seventieth year, the multi-hyphenate is equally passionate about his projects as he was in his initial years.

Recently he took to the Instagram to announce his next project, titled, 'Western epic Horizon: An American Saga'.

He gushed about the film and wrote on his Instagram, "We're deep into the production of #HorizonFilm, and, I have to tell you, I haven't felt this way about a movie since we were making Dances With Wolves. Can't wait to share it with all of you."

Adding to that, Costner also shared the table with Harrison Ford as the two stars attended the Golden Globes together.
