LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Fans noticed that Kim Kardashian's birthday greeting to Caitlyn Jenner on Instagram on Tuesday, October 29, was not very heartfelt with many labeling it as "forced" and "straightforward."
The 'Kardashians' star honored the former Olympian's special day on Instagram by posting a single photo of the two of them together along with a brief caption: "Happy 75th Birthday. I love you."
In her response to the post, Jenner told Kim, "Love you so much. Thank you for everything🙏🏼🤍."

Caitlyn Jenner's relationship with Kim Kardashian and the other members of the Kardashian family has been tense in recent years, notably since Jenner participated in the documentary series 'House of Kardashians'.
Kim's birthday message to Jenner came out months after she addressed Jenner's assertion that she was "calculated" in the November 2023 episode of the 'House of Kardashian' documentary series.
Jenner asserted in an interview that her former stepdaughter Kim "calculated" her success early on. "Kimberly calculated from the beginning, how do I become famous?" the 75-year-old Olympian said in a promo for the Sky docuseries, per Page Six.
In a May episode of 'The Kardashians' Season 5, Kim previously responded to the remark by stating that she received "so many text messages" inquiring as to whether her feelings were "hurt."
The SKIMS co-founder confessed at the time, "It honestly doesn’t [bother me]. I had such a great stepdad who raised me. So none of those things that are said, even if twisted or whatever, are gonna make me think differently of the life I’ve had."
Her family members, including Scott Disick, also weighed in on the Peacock doc, calling it "bulls**t." Jenner "is completely free to do whatever she wants," said Khloe Kardashian.
"This was my dad for 24 years. It hurts me, too," the Good American co-creator co-creator remarked, per Page Six.
Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner were married from 1991 to 2015 and shared daughters Kylie and Kendall Jenner, who did not express their feelings about the series, while Kourtney Kardashian also did not comment.
