LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Nicola Coughlan is the new face of SKIMS and fans think Kim Kardashian is the “marketing genius to have the ‘Bridgerton’ sensation roped in for the latest campaign. 

Since its debut in 2020, 'Bridgerton' has featured Coughlan's Penelope Featherington as a prominent character. In the recently aired third season, Penelope not only returned to the Netflix series but also took a leading role in her journey to find love.

The 37-year-old actress has now been chosen by Kim Kardashian's clothing brand SKIMS to star in their latest campaign, much to the delight of fans.

Nicola Coughlan gets roped in by SKIMS

Just a few days after the second half of the third season launched, Kim Kardashian announced through her Instagram that the Irish actress is the latest face of SKIMS.

On Monday, June 17, the reality TV star posted a brief video on her Instagram showcasing Coughlan in a stunning pink outfit. In the clip, the 'Derry Girls' actress is seen in a lime green spaghetti-strap column dress from the SKIMS brand, declaring, "Everybody's wearing Skims."

Kardashian shared the clip with the caption, “NICOLA COUGHLAN FOR SKIMS.”

The actress too reacted to the post, writing, “Such a honour loved making this 🌸.” [sic]

Kim Kardashian's marketing campaign featuring Nicola Coughlan garners praise

It's safe to say, fans were thrilled to see Coughlan as part of the new SKIMS campaign.

One of the fans amalgamated the signature dialogue of Lady Whistledown with the campaign tagline, "Dear gentle readers, everyone is wearing skims😂😂😂😂."

"Kimberly.. the marketing genius. Per usual," praised another fan. Somebody else said, "The marketing team needs a raise."

"Another day of Kimberly being Marketing Genius," said someone else. [sic] Another social media user gushed, "So happy she is having her moment."

"What a coup. I swear Kim is a BOSS," declared another enamored fan. Another netizen said, 'Yeah, totally impressive. This was a smart move."

Another fan chimed in, "Respect button for Kim Kardashian ✅."

"The businesswoman that you are Kim 🔥👏," applauded someone else. "I already loved Skims but now I love them more," said another fan.

"Smart decision one right after the other," said someone else. 

Kim Kardashian has previously roped in other stars

Nicola Coughlan is not the first star to team up with Kardashian for her SKIMS campaigns.
