Kim Kardashian’s childhood ‘lifer’ friend Lindsay May dies leaving reality star feeling deep loss

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Reality star Kim Kardashian's childhood "lifer" friend, Lindsay May, died following a protracted battle with cancer, as reported by Daily Mail.

Kim's other childhood friend, Simone Harouche, posted a picture of Lindsay on January 5 along with a note about the death of her very good friend

"I felt this so deep. I love you so much," Kim commented on the post, while her sister Kourtney added, "This made me cry. I love you."

Since the debut of 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' in 2007, Kim Kardashian has depicted her life on television. Although the show ended in 2021, the A-list family was featured on the Hulu series 'The Kardashians'.

Over the years, viewers have been introduced to many of Kim’s friends through cameos on the shows and her social media accounts.

However, the SKIMS founder’s friends who she holds near and dear to her heart are called her “lifers” – and they have remained out of the spotlight for the most part.

A source close to Kim's "lifer" friends said, "It's been really hard on Kim because she had known Lindsay since she was a child growing up in Beverly Hills."

"They are only in their forties, not their nineties, so it is difficult to process. Kim has found comfort with her circle of friends, which she calls her "lifers" and with her sisters who knew Lindsay," they added.

That could be the reason Kim was spotted traveling to Mexico on Wednesday, January 29, with two of her "lifers", Harouche and Alison Slatter. They reportedly carried out the trip to honor their late pal Lindsay.

Lindsay May co-founded Mayflower Entertainment, a consultancy firm that "connects brands with entertainment and pop culture partners to maximize advertising impact." She also worked for brands such as Gucci.

"The last 2 months have been a blur. Here’s what I have to show for all of it. in no particular order," Harouche wrote in her entry, dedicated to Lindsay.

"My world stopped on Nov 2nd. you took a little of me with you, but thank God I took some of you. a beautiful sunset took on a whole new meaning. reminisced a lot and the 90s were f***ing fun."

She continued: "Went on some beautiful adventures. had a lot of family time. I said yes to more. I experienced what it means when people talk about the power of community (very cliche, but very true). took a very long break from Instagram. celebrated birthdays, holidays, friendship and a new year."

"Felt like I was in a daze a lot of the time, but also felt grateful for every second of this life (another cliche, but also very true). you are always with me. I feel you all the time. Love love love, BeFri ♾️."

Who are Kim Kardashian’s 'lifers'?

Kim Kardashian has frequently displayed pictures of her close childhood buddies. The "lifers" appeared on 'KUWTK' on a rare occasion after attending their 20th high school reunion and a girls' trip to Las Vegas to watch Cher, per Life and Style Magazine.

The TV personality posted a number of throwback photos in 2023 from her teenage years with her closest friends, and her pre-school mates from high school in Bel Air.

The women, including Kim, went to Bel Air, California's Marymount High School. Kim and her family lived in Beverly Hills at the time, and then Calabasas.

The mother-of-four shared pictures of herself with the women in more recent years, displaying her continued closeness to the group of six girls. The women are Lindsay, Sarah, Ashley, Simone, Zoe, and Allison.

Allison Statter has been Kim's right-hand lady since she was a young girl. The two became acquainted because Allison's mother Shelli Azoff was best friends with Kim's mother, Kris Jenner.

Following her marriage to Rich Statter, Allison now goes as Allison Statter. Kim and Allison collaborated on one of her KKW cosmetic collections, and even made an appearance in the box and advertising photos.

Zoe is Zoe Winkler Reinis, the daughter of 'Happy Days' star Henry Winkler, who most recently starred in the television series 'Barry'. Zoe co-founded @thisisabouthumanity, www.thisisabouthumanity.com, and was a pre-school teacher.

Simone is Simone Harouche. She is a fashion stylist who attended New York City's Parsons School of Design before working with Ashley Tisdale, Nicole Richie, and Miley Cyrus.

Kim and the fashion expert were staying at the same hotel in Paris when 'The Kardashians' star was robbed of $10 million worth of valuables. Kim called Simone for assistance after she managed to get free.
