LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kim Kardashian's Instagram was flooded with snake emojis by Swifties after Taylor Swift's revealing TIME Magazine interview.

Swift, recently named Person of the Year, accused Kardashian of taking her "down psychologically" and pushing her into hiding during their prolonged feud, subtly labeling the reality star and Kanye West as "trash."

The feud traces back to 2016 when Kardashian famously tweeted about "National Snake Day," a reference to Swift. In retaliation, Swift incorporated snake imagery into her 2017 album 'Reputation', addressing her tumultuous experience with Kardashian.

In the interview with TIME Magazine, Taylor Swift shared the deep impact of her feud with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, describing it as a "career death." Swift also discussed the aftermath and the toll it took on her mental health.

Swift accused Kardashian of orchestrating a "fully manufactured frame job" by releasing an illegally recorded phone call that was edited to portray Swift as a liar. This, according to Swift, had severe psychological consequences, pushing her to a place she had never been before.

Taylor said, "You have a fully manufactured frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, which Kim Kardashian edited and then put out to say to everyone that I was a liar."

"That took me down psychologically to a place I've never been before. I moved to a foreign country. I didn't leave a rental house for a year. I was afraid to get on phone calls."

While Swift did not specify the foreign country, it aligns with the time when she began dating British actor Joe Alwyn in late 2016. Speculation suggests that Swift rented a home in London during that period to spend time with Alwyn.

Swift admitted to pushing away most people in her life due to a lack of trust, a consequence of the highly publicized feud. The emotional toll was profound, and she went through a challenging period that she described as going down "really, really hard."

Swift said, "I pushed away most people in my life because I didn't trust anyone anymore. I went down really, really hard. I thought that moment of backlash was going to define me negatively for the rest of my life."

As of now, Kim Kardashian has not responded to the social media backlash or Swift's TIME Magazine interview. Instead, she continued with her regular social media activity, even posting a picture on Instagram promoting her brand SKIMS while ignoring the ongoing furore in her comments section.

Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner experience follower drop after Balenciaga Show

Kim Kardashian, Cardi B, and Kendall Jenner are reported to have lost Instagram followers following their participation in Balenciaga's Fall 2024 fashion show. Despite Cardi B walking the runway, the trio experienced a combined loss of over 850,000 followers, with Kim losing around 300,000 and Kendall losing approximately 500,000, according to research by Replay Poker.

Cardi B, who actively participated in the fashion show, reportedly lost 133,619 followers the day after the event. In contrast to the Kardashian-Jenner sisters, actress Nicole Kidman, recently announced as Balenciaga's newest ambassador, saw a gain in followers, with her following increasing by around 5,000.

Kardashian-Jenner family, combined with Balenciaga's past controversies, might be the reason behind the follower drop.
