LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kim Kardashian's tumultuous personal life is set to become the foundation for her new scripted TV series on Hulu, where she will play a high-profile divorce attorney, as reported by The Daily Mail.

This revelation unfolded in the latest episode of 'The Kardashians', where Kim discussed the project's origins and her collaboration with 'American Horror Story' creator Ryan Murphy.

Kim Kardashian channels real-life divorce drama into scripted series

The show, which is currently untitled, will feature Kim as LA's most successful divorce lawyer, a character inspired by her own experiences and her divorce attorney, Laura Wasser.

Wasser represented Kim during her brief 72-day marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries and her highly publicized divorce from rapper Kanye West.

Kim was in the driveway of her mother Kris's house, where she confessed, "Paris was so much fun and now, having dinner with Ryan Murphy and my mom. And I had no idea, I saw it on the schedule today. This is exactly what happened when he asked me to do 'American Horror Story', so I don't know, it's coming out soon, maybe it's just a cute catch-up and I have no idea."

As Kim and Ryan meet, Ryan tells her he loves her 'cute little purse,' and asks her what's inside.

"I actually grabbed it with nothing in it, but typically it would be a piece of gum, a powder puff and a lipstick," Kim tells Murphy.

Kim said in confession, "This week is the premiere of American Horror Story. I'm definitely nervous because I say really kinda salacious lines and crazy things in this. I just want to… I really want to do a good job."

Kim recalls the last time they had dinner, as Ryan says, "Yeah, last time we had dinner, I came over and suggested, 'Let's do a great reality show about style,' and you responded, 'You know, I kinda want to act.'"

Murphy says, "And it was great and it kind of put the seed in my head and then we wrote that part for you, you know. It's been a really good experience, although I don't think Kim was prepared for how long the hours are. It's hard," as Kim adds, 'It's no joke."

Murphy revealed that Kim's performance was so impressive that network executives suggested giving her a starring role in her own show.

Kim glances over at her momager Kris, and they both nod in agreement.

In a confessional, Kim admits, "F**k, what have I gotten myself into? Can I really pull this off? But I think I can."

Murphy explains, "It's a fantastic concept. Kim is the world's top, most expensive divorce lawyer," which clearly impresses both Kris and Kim.

"I do have some experience," Kim says with a wink. Murphy continues, "She runs her own firm, and the unique aspect of her firm is that it's entirely female," which impresses Kim, who responds, "Very on brand."

Variety has recently unveiled the lineup for Season 20 of its acclaimed 'Actors on Actors' series, sparking significant debate online.

The diverse panel features notable pairings such as Jodie Foster and Robert Downey Jr, Kristen Wiig and Jon Hamm, Naomi Watts and Jonathan Bailey, and controversially, Kim Kardashian and Chloë Sevigny.

Kim Kardashian, primarily known for her reality TV empire, has recently ventured into acting, with a notable role in Ryan Murphy’s 'American Horror Story'. Despite her performance receiving some positive reviews, her inclusion in the 'Actors on Actors' lineup has drawn criticism.

Critics from The New Yorker and The Guardian acknowledged Kardashian's performance in American Horror Story as "actually pretty good" and "scarily not bad," while Rolling Stone went as far as to suggest that the show "needs Kim Kardashian."

The announcement of Kardashian’s appearance alongside seasoned actors has led to a wave of criticism on social media.

"Kim Kardashian’s work on one season of AHS does not put her on par with anyone on this list. She’s nowhere near their level of talent and many accomplishments," an X user wrote.

Another wrote, "Kim Kardashian? Can we be serious, please?"

One said, "Real actors exist, did Kim K pay to be there???" one user speculated.
