NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA: Kimberly Guilfoyle is back in the limelight as her latest photo with Kevin Costner has left social media users speculating over its implications. 

The 55-year-old former television presenter created a ripple on the internet after sharing a picture with the ‘Yellowstone’ star, 70, during the Super Bowl 2025 on Sunday, February 9. 

As the Philadelphia Eagles lifted the Lombardi Trophy (lovingly called the Super Bowl) defeating the defending champion, Kansas City Chiefs, Guilfoyle was in attendance to witness the feat. 

While she may not be the only one, with illustrious names in attendance including President Donald Trump, and pop sensation Taylor Swift among others, it was one of her photos that generated a huge interest among fans.

Kimberly Guilfoyle, who was in attendance at the Caesars Superdome on Sunday to watch the electrifying clash, did not forget to share a few noteworthy moments on her social media. 

In one of the images, the Trump administration’s US ambassador to Greece posed with the Oscar-winning actor Kevin Costner, as reported by Daily Mail.

For the event, Guilfoyle dressed in a pair of red leggings, a black satin top, and a cropped black fur jacket, and accessorized with knee-high suede boots. As the political adviser looked radiant standing beside Costner, people started wondering what was cooking between the duo. 

The ‘Horizon’ actor, who finalized a divorce from his ex, Christine Baumgartner in 2024, also looked sharp in a pressed white shirt, beige trousers, tan boots, and black glasses, as he posed for the photo. 

However, Costner is not the only one fresh out of a divorce and an alleged subsequent breakup from Jewel, as Guilfoyle too broke up with her ex, Donald Trump Jr recently. 

The former couple, who first sparked a romantic connection in 2018, got engaged in 2020. However, by the end of 2024, their romance fizzled out and Donald Trump’s eldest son was spotted getting cozy with his new love interest, socialite Bettina Anderson during a stroll at Palm Beach, Florida, in December. 

Don Jr (though not pictured) was also present at the NFL flagship event with Anderson, reports Daily Mail. 

The outlet further reported that though the former couple broke off their engagement, they appear amicable, with the 46-year-old businessman sharing in a statement to Page Six that he and Guilfoyle will “never stop caring for each other".

He shared, “Kimberly and I will never stop caring for each other and will always keep a special bond,” before reflecting on Trump’s appointment of Guilfoyle as the US Ambassador of Greece, saying, “I could not be more proud of her and the important role she’ll continue to play in my father‘s administration.”

Apart from posing with Costner, Guilfoyle also shared another image with Pete Davidson and Jaleel White.

Kimberly Guilfoyle's latest post with Kevin Costner had fans scratching their heads as they tried to understand the meaning behind the photo. While some asked whether they were "dating", some even boldly declared it was just a "photo op for her".

One of the social media users referenced her other photo with Pete Davidson, saying, "Weird pivot from hanging out with Pete Davidson."

Someone else, meanwhile, declared, "It was just a photo op for her."

Another fan questioned her position as the ambassador to Greece, writing, "Isn’t she an ambassador now? Why isn’t she doing her job?"

"Shouldn’t she be in Greece? Or does she get special treatment that allows her to work remotely?" quipped someone else highlighting her presence In the US while she was supposed to be in Greece. 

Another fan, nevertheless, refused to read further into this, as they said, "Costner is a liberal so hopefully there’s nothing more to this!"

Another user was, however, not so forgiving, as they exclaimed, "Oh God no why did you have to ruin it for us please not my Kevin. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️😭😭."
