PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Kimberly Guilfoyle, a figure known for her outspoken personality and unapologetic approach to public speaking, found herself in an awkward moment during a recent appearance at the Republican Party of Florida’s annual dinner.

The incident, which occurred towards the end of her speech, left many cringing and sparked a wave of online trolling.

Guilfoyle's plea for applause from the audience fell flat, leading to social media users labeling her a "charisma blackhole" in a viral backlash.

At the event, Kimberly Guilfoyle, the fiancee of Donald Trump Jr, delivered a speech that appeared to lack the desired impact. While most of her address wasn’t made public, the final moments, which quickly gained traction on social media, were particularly memorable.

The scene was captured by Ron Filipkowski, editor-in-chief of Meidas Touch, who posted the clip on X (formerly Twitter) with a caption that set the tone for the ensuing reactions.

"Kim Guilfoyle gave an embarrassing speech at the Republican Party of FL annual dinner tonight where she was barely able to get 5 people to clap for her applause lines. This is towards the end where she is now begging people to clap for her," he wrote.

In the video, Guilfoyle attempts to rally the crowd with patriotic rhetoric. "Republicans from all walks of life have had enough of the Democrats' decline, and we are ready. We are willing and we are able to spark a new era of American exceptionalism," she declared confidently.

However, her words were met with an underwhelming response from the audience, as only a few people offered applause.

The lackluster reaction prompted Guilfoyle to awkwardly address the room: "You can clap for that." But despite her attempt to encourage more enthusiasm, the applause remained sparse, creating an uncomfortable moment that quickly went viral.

This isn't the first time Guilfoyle has made headlines for her controversial or awkward public appearances. She has often been at the center of media attention for her sometimes off-putting behavior. One notable instance occurred in September 2023 during a live interview on Newsmax, as reported by The Independent.

Guilfoyle, who has been engaged to Trump Jr since New Year’s Eve of 2020, became visibly irritated when the show’s host, Greg Kelly, referred to Donald Trump as her "potential" future father-in-law.

The interview, which was intended to focus on the Georgia election interference indictment against Trump, took a detour when Kelly awkwardly phrased a question about Guilfoyle’s relationship: "So obviously this atrocity unfolds, your potential father-in-law under arrest. But you know what? It’s turning up roses."

Guilfoyle, clearly unimpressed, responded with a laugh and corrected Kelly: "Potential? Future father-in-law. Jesus."

Kelly continued to press for more details about the couple’s relationship, asking if a wedding date had been set. Guilfoyle playfully deflected, saying, "Uh, not that I’m sharing on the air." The exchange quickly went viral, with viewers commenting on the uncomfortable tone of the interview.
