LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: On the occasion of their son Rocky's first birthday, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker received a truly unforgettable gift for their little one—a personalized, handwritten note from none other than Sylvester Stallone.

The iconic actor and writer of the 1976 classic 'Rocky' sent the touching message for Rocky, making the milestone celebration even more special.

Travis Barker shared the note on his Instagram Stories on November 4, calling it "one of the most special Birthday gifts." He posted a snapshot of the note, which was written on Stallone’s own stationary.

The Blink-182 drummer also credited Kris Jenner for helping in getting the gift by writing, “Thank you @krisjenner @officialslystallone.”

According to E! Online, the card itself contained heartfelt words from Stallone, who shared a personal connection with baby Rocky.

"Dear Rocky, My name is Rocky too. Your name is very special and is identified with wonderful things," the note began.

Stallone then offered some life advice to the 12-month-old, acknowledging that "life has many challenges you will face," and encouraging the baby to “show dedication and determination!”

"You must never give up on your dreams, never!" Stallone said, before offering words of wisdom on the importance of values. "Now most importantly, you must always value family, friendship and loyalty over fame and fortune!"

He concluded with his signature "Keep punching, Sly 'Rocky Stallone,'" a reference to his legendary character from the 'Rocky' film series, where his character, Rocky Balboa, battles life’s challenges.

Travis Barker reveals special meaning behind his son’s name

The birthday card was particularly meaningful to Travis Barker, who has long cited the 'Rocky' films as a major influence on his life.

In an interview with Complex last July, he revealed that the movie was one of the inspirations behind naming his son "Rocky," calling it "the greatest boxing movie of all time."

The name also honors Suicidal Tendencies guitarist Rocky George, with Travis adding that the number 13—Rocky’s middle name—is simply "the greatest number of all time."

In an extra special coincidence, Rocky is the 13th grandchild to be born into the Kardashian-Jenner family, a fact that Kris Jenner celebrated in her own Instagram tribute to her grandson.

Rocky’s first year has already been filled with unique experiences. The toddler, often surrounded by family and love, recently enjoyed playful moments with a globe-shaped bouncy ball and Halloween-themed props.
