Kris Jenner got 'really hurt' by Kourtney Kardashian’s public pregnancy announcement in June

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kourtney Kardashian reportedly left her mother Kris Jenner feeling "hurt" by announcing her pregnancy in a very public way but without telling her.

The 44-year-old, who recently became the mother, named her new-born son "Rocky Thirteen Barker." She had earlier publically disclosed that she and Travis Barker were going to be parents in June during a Blink-182 concert, Daily Mail reported.

Though Kris knew about her daughter’s pregnancy, she was not informed about her plan to reveal it to the world, which happened in June.

‘Knew she was pregnant, didn’t know she was going to announce it’

Now, the Season 4 finale of ‘The Kardashians’ has revealed the family drama that occurred due to the public disclosure.

The episode showed a producer asking the 'momager' and Khloe if they liked “the reveal,” Kris answered, “Yeah,” without showing any excitement.

Khloe then disclosed, “She found out on the news, my mom. She wasn’t very happy, rightfully so.”

Kris shared, “I opened my eyes, and right in front of me… because we had left the TV on the night before and woke up really early in the morning to see Kourtney holding this sign and I thought I was being Punk’d, and I’m like, did someone put this up?"

“And I realized it was the ABC News. I knew she was pregnant, I didn’t know she was going to announce it,” he said.

‘That’s what the pregnancy brain does’

Khloe continued, “I said on Saturday, mom’s feelings are really hurt that you did this blah blah blah and she was like, ‘I forgot',” as her mother added, “She forgot she had a family. That’s what the pregnancy brain does. It’s wild how that happens.”

However, Kourtney presented her side of the story as she claimed, “I just truly didn’t think to invite them to the LA concert and didn’t think that they would care to come.”

“I did tell Khloe about it and she asked me to change it to San Diego. It’s not about you. It just truly was our way to tell the world and it was about me and Travis, not about anything else,” she asserted.

In the same episode, Kourtney informed her 68-year-old mother that “tomorrow, we are doing our gender reveal, if you guys, if anyone wants to come,” leaving Kris shocked.

She then remarked, “You’re telling me the day before? That’s so Kourtney.”

Kourtney defending herself added, “Travis is making a detour on tour. He has like 24-hours off. We’ve just been in like crazy planning mode.”
