Naturally, the 40th edition of the fest kicked off with a starry gala featuring stars like Kirsten Stewart and Pedro Pascal. Let's have a look at ten celebrities who graced the annual event in the first two days.
Malia Obama
Malia Obama, the daughter of former President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama, attended the premiere of her short movie 'The Heart' at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival. Her project, which she directed and wrote, was screened at the Prospector Square Theatre as a part of the short fiction films program. When asked about the content of her film, Malia answered, "The film is about lost objects and lonely people and forgiveness and regret, but I also think it works hard to uncover where tenderness and closeness can exist in those things."
Kristen Stewart
Kristen Stewart graced the Sundance Film Festival on January 18 as well as on January 19. The 33-year-old actress was even honored with the Visionary Award by Jesse Eisenberg on the first day of the festival. Along with his signature smile, the Chilean-American actor sported a cream-colored, diamond-print jacket alongside matching pants.

Ronan is also one of the producers of the daring film.
