CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed to conservative media personality Benny Johnson on Saturday, October 4, that ICE will be at the 2026 Super Bowl.

The federal agents will enforce the laws of the land at Bad Bunny's halftime show as well.

Johnson seemingly hinted that the NFL was supposedly trying to send a message to the Donald Trump administration by picking Bad Bunny for the Super Bowl halftime show, and asked for Noem's opinion on that.

She said, "They suck and we'll win and God will bless us. We will stand and be proud of ourselves at the end of the day. And they won’t be able to sleep at night because they don’t know what they believe. And they’re so weak, we’ll fix it.”

Regarding the presence of federal agents at the Super Bowl 2026, Kristi Noem told Benny Johnson, "The Department of Homeland Security is responsible for keeping it safe."

She further elaborated and said, "So, I have the responsibility for making sure that everybody who goes to the Super Bowl has the opportunity to enjoy it, and to leave, and that's what America is all about. So, yeah, we will be all over that place."

The DHS chief also expressed, "People should not be coming to the Super Bowl unless they’re law-abiding Americans who love this country."

Kristi Noem’s senior advisor Corey Lewandowski earlier mentioned to Benny Johnson that they don’t care about who the performer is and added, “We’re going to do enforcement everywhere.”

“There is nowhere that you can provide a safe haven to people in this country illegally. Not the Super Bowl and nowhere else,” Lewandowski stressed.

He further explained, “We will find you. We will apprehend you. We will put you in a detention facility, and we will deport you. So know that that is a very real situation under this administration, which is completely contrary to what how it used to be.”

Earlier, Bad Bunny had explained that he chose not to include any US stops on his Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour as he and his team were very concerned about his fans facing deportation threats.

“There were many reasons why I didn’t show up in the US, and none of them were out of hate — I’ve performed there many times. All of the shows have been successful. All of them have been magnificent," He said to i-D. "I’ve enjoyed connecting with Latinos who have been living in the US."

"There was the issue of — like, f*****g ICE could be outside [my concert]. And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about," the 'NUEVAYoL' crooner added.

As for the backlash to him headlining the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show, he joked in his monologue during the 'Saturday Night Live' Season 51 premiere that everyone was happy about it, "even Fox News."
