Things do not always have to be unpleasant when a relationship ends! Some ex-partners are so at ease with one another that they decide to hang out together in their free time. Some famous ex-couples have even taken trips together. Almost six months after announcing their separation, Kyle Richards and her estranged husband Mauricio Umansky celebrated Christmas with their girls in Aspen, Colorado. The 54-year-old 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' actress and Umansky, 53, have daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15. The group reportedly went skiing in the posh resort town on Saturday, December 23, and was spotted at a Matsuhisa restaurant where they indulged in sushi, as per TMZ.

The 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' alum shared a photo of herself standing with daughter Alexia on her Instagram Story, giving fans a little peek inside the reality group's celebrations in Aspen. Their daughter Rumer said on 'Larry King Now' in a 2015 interview, "I never had to split up vacations or split up birthdays. They always made an effort to do all of the family events still together and made such an effort to still have our family be as one unit, as opposed to two separate things, which I think really made an impact."
Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick
Notwithstanding their ups and downs over the years, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick always have their three kids' best interests in mind. Oftentimes, Kourtney and Scott get back together for family vacations. One such trip was to Finland, where Scott's then-girlfriend Sofia Richie joined them. A source claimed that everyone went on a snowmobile "safari," played in the snow, and saw the amazing northern lights. Kourtney claimed that while some people found the situation perplexing, they "had the best time."
Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy
Kate Hudson is content with her blended family and has even taken trips overseas with her former partner, Matthew Bellamy. Bellamy went on a family holiday to the Greek island of Skiathos in December 2020 with Hudson, her two sons, and her mother, actress Goldie Hawn. An insider told PEOPLE at the time, "They blend in with other families and honeymooners. They are very focused on the kids and making it fun for them." Hudson earlier told 'Wine Enthusiast', "We’re family for the rest of our lives, we have a beautiful baby and we love making wine. We’ll continue doing it."

The family is united and, no matter what, will protect the kids," the insider said at the time.
Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora
