Kylie Jenner called out for 'embarrassing' blunder in new perfume ad, fans beg her to consult an 'expert'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kylie Jenner broadened her horizons and launched a new product under Kylie Cosmetics as 'The Kardashians' star announced the upcoming release of her first fragrance, aptly dubbed Cosmic.
Kylie is preparing to unveil her perfume line, Cosmic, on March 7, and has been pushing the product on social media. However, one advertisement raised concerns after fans detected a glaring error in the product notes, per The Sun.
Kylie's new fragrance line will also feature lotions, oils, and bath gels. The reality star took to Instagram to show her followers a close-up of the fragrance bottle.

Critics mock Kylie Jenner for making spelling mistake in new fragrance ad
Kylie's Cosmic will be available for purchase on Kylie Cosmetics' official website starting Thursday, March 7.
In her announcement, the reality star explained the fragrance's design, adding that she created the packaging with her birthday "embossed in Roman numbers and the bottle was shaped to fit in the palm of your hand."
The now-deleted photo featured Kylie, 26, clutching a pink box containing the scent, with the description written over it.
It said "star jasmine, blood orange, amber accord, red peony, and vanilla musk," but the last component was misspelled as "cederwood." Fans pointed out the error in a forum thread, noting that the word should be spelled "cedarwood."

Kylie's staff appeared to have spotted the error, removing the post and ensuring that it was written correctly in their other advertisements.
However, opponents continued to tease the Hulu celebrity over the lapse, calling it "embarrassing" and imploring her to consult an "expert."
Kylie highlighted her upcoming fragrance collection, Cosmic, and shared the inspiration behind its introduction. The reality star revealed that the fragrance was "so personal" and that it took around two years to create, per Us Weekly.
Kylie Jenner criticized for 'copying' Kali Uchis' look in Cosmic ad
The reality personality was also accused of imitating rival beauty firm Glossier's popular perfume, which has a not-so-unique name. "This bottle looks just like Glossier's," someone said in the online forum.
In the new announcement video, Kylie was surrounded by pink blossoms, implying that her fragrance would have a floral scent. The camera then zoomed in on Kylie's hair, revealing various types of flowers, some of which poked out behind her face.
The beauty mogul's face was partially concealed by pink and yellow flowers lighted on one side. Some critics pointed out parallels between her promotional poster and Kali Uchis' album covers for 'Orquídeas' and 'Red Moon In Venus'.
One social media user wrote in the Instagram comment section: "STOP STEALING ITS @kaliuchis idea and her literal album. Can't even let pregnant women be happy"

A second one added, "So we copying Latino artists now ??? You stole the idea from @kaliuchis !" while another one slammed and wrote, "Y’all realize she stole @kaliuchis idea right? the last frame with her and the flowers…"
"Reminds me of @kaliuchis orquídeas," noted another social media user, while one more said, "@kaliuchis did this exact visual for her album cover"
One more remarked, "It’s giving @kaliuchis vibes," and another one wrote in block letters, "HAPPY RED MOON IN VENUS DAY @KALIUCHIS"

Critics have already attacked the fragrance bottle's design, citing a host of strange similarities. "It's giving chicken nugget," one fan said of the bottle's form.
"Peeled potato," someone else suggested. "It looks like a fatty liver," said one user.
