Kylie Jenner says her parents were 'not angry' after she revealed pregnancy at 19

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kylie Jenner is getting real about the moment she had to tell her parents she was pregnant at 19. Appearing on Wednesday, May 13, episode of the 'Therapuss with Jake Shane' podcast, Jenner admitted she was completely panicking before breaking the news to her family. 

"I was 19 when I got pregnant. I was freaking out and was really scared to tell my parents," she shared. But despite all the anxiety, Jenner said no one in her family was angry after she revealed the news. 

During the chat, Jenner also revealed that her first pregnancy was way easier than her second.

Over the years, Jenner has spoken openly about how motherhood reshaped her priorities and personal life as she continued to grow her successful beauty brand and raise her two children, Stormi, 8, and Aire, 4.

During the recent podcast appearance, the reality star admitted she was nervous about breaking the news to her family. “I was really scared. But there was something just inside of me that knew that I wanted to do this, and I had to make a decision for myself: What do I really want? What can I handle? And even if I have to do this alone, or however, this is the choice that I'm going to make," she said. 

Jenner also shared details about how her family, including her parents Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner, reacted. "Then I told my mom. No one was angry at me. It was a crazy time,” she said.

The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' alum welcomed Stormi with ex Travis Scott in 2018 after largely staying out of the public eye during her pregnancy. Years later, Jenner took a similarly private approach before welcoming their son, Aire, in 2022.

During the same podcast, Jenner got candid about her childhood experiences with paparazzi. She shared that photographers were often harsh toward her when she was younger and would even call her names, leaving her fearful of them from an early age.

Jenner also opened up about the health struggles she faced during pregnancy, admitting that her second pregnancy was much tougher on her body. “I have had chronic back pain for three and a half years. It's just starting to get better. But my son, my last pregnancy, it really took me out,” she shared.

The 28-year-old revealed that by the 12-week mark, she could barely walk because of the physical pain she was experiencing. She explained that she dealt with sciatica as well as intense lower back pain throughout the pregnancy.

While Jenner is no longer in a relationship with Scott, the two continue to co-parent their children. The reality star is now dating Timothee Chalamet, and the two have been together since 2023.
