Lara Trump's clip from the New Year celebration soon went viral and people began sharing their views on her singing talent, or the lack of it.

An X user tweeted, “He’s sending her to Ukraine and if that doesn’t drive the Russians back nothing will.”

Another user wrote, “Someone should tell her. It’s makes me embarrassed to watch.”

“When the singer is second rate, turn up the volume on the band so nobody can hear her. Who told this woman she could sing? Has she listened to herself?” someone commented.

An individual simply remarked, “Unbearable.”

A critic commented, “Fantastic, the thing that literally no one has been waiting for.”

Another claimed, “All the money in the world isn’t gonna turn Lara  into a singer.”

An individual said, “Ooohhh…I’ll bet she thinks she’s gonna give Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour a run for its money! Bwahahahahahahahahaha…breath…bwahahaha!!!”

Another individual added, “Thank God the orchestra is louder than her singing.”

Lara Trump claimed she would make 'big' announcement in January

This came after Lara Trump announced last month that she would step down as co-chair of the Republican National Committee amid speculation that she could be chosen to fill a potential US Senate vacancy in Florida.

She announced that she’s “decided to remove my name from consideration for the United States Senate".

In a tweet, she wrote, “I could not have been more honored to serve as RNC co-chair during the most high-stakes election of our lifetime and I’m truly humbled by the unbelievable support shown to me by the people of our country, and here in the great state of Florida. I have read so many of your kind messages and I cannot thank you enough.”

“I do have a big announcement that I’m excited to share in January, so, stay tuned. I remain incredibly passionate about public service and look forward to serving our country again sometime in the future. In the meantime, I wish Governor DeSantis the best of luck with this appointment,” she added at the time.
