LAWRENCE, KANSAS: Native American actor Cole Brings Plenty, 27, best known for playing Pete Plenty Clouds in the 'Yellowstone' spinoff series '1923', was found dead on April 5 shortly after going missing.

He was named as a suspect in a domestic abuse investigation at the time he disappeared.

According to Daily Mail, the woman who claimed that Cole Brings had attacked her continues to stand by her claim, even though his death has led to criticism and contempt against her.

Alleged victim had casual months-long affair with Cole Brings Plenty

The alleged victim, whose identity Daily Mail confirmed, is a 20-year-old neighbor, who had a casual, months-long affair with Cole, and shared her narrative on Facebook following Cole's disappearance.

She wrote in all caps on April 2: "Remember: Cole is missing because he broke into my house and strangled me. I struggled to fight him off. He dragged me down the stairs outside of my apartment. I screamed for help so he ran away and drove off. If you see him call the cops," ending her Facebook post with an emoji.

Shortly after making the accusation, the purported victim made her page private in response to a flurry of threats from Cole's supporters who claimed she was lying.

Her family claimed she had received offensive threats on social media, which has her worried about her security.

A commenter going by the handle Jaiden stated, "He was assaulted, (the alleged victim) cut his hair off, and retracted her statement, changed it and made comments on TikTok/FB then deleted them. Investigate her! #JusticeforCole."

Following a four-day hunt, Cole's body was discovered on April 5 in Gardner, Kansas, 28 miles away from the construction site where his car had been left abandoned.

Cole's family and tribe incited anger against law enforcement and the purported victim by calling for a federal probe into the events leading up to his death and bringing up the possibility that he was killed.

What happened between the alleged victim and Cole Brings Plenty?

The alleged 20-year-old victim resided in the student apartment complex Reserve on West 131st, next door to Cole, who was a student at Haskell University in Lawrence, Kansas.

The two began dating in August 2023, per sources, after Cole moved into the building from a different area of town.

Additionally, Daily Mail now refutes other false information that has been circulating online, such as the claim that the woman and Cole were present at Replay Lounge on the night of the incident on March 31.

Rumor has it that she chopped off his ponytail when it got hooked in the cable of a live band.

However, it has been verified that she wasn't even present at the bar. No pictures of the alleged victim from the bar incident were posted online.

According to reports, Cole sought to meet up with her at her home when he got back at three in the morning. She allegedly hung up on him when he contacted her a third time after ignoring his first two calls.

She claimed Cole broke through a window to enter her apartment. Sources claimed that the altercation started in her room and eventually moved outside and she started screaming.

As Cole hurried down the steps toward his car, a doorbell camera reportedly caught the young woman standing outside, nude below the waist.

The woman made a 911 call. Later that day, following her statement, Lawrence police sent out a notice to local agencies requesting that Cole be arrested.
