MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: In a recent monologue on 'The Ingraham Angle,' host Laura Ingraham criticized President Joe Biden's recent comments regarding the "smoke and mirrors" approach to addressing the border crisis during an election year, dismissing them as mere election-year rhetoric.

Ingraham's remarks came after Joe Biden unveiled plans on June 4 to impose significant new restrictions on migrants seeking asylum at the U.S.-Mexico border.

This action aligns with the White House's objective to downplay immigration as a political concern leading up to the November elections, as per AP News

Ingraham argued that Biden's statements are part of a broader Democratic strategy aimed at maintaining power rather than addressing the real issues facing the country.

"Nothing that Biden said today about the border matters. It's all smoke and mirrors," Ingraham declared.

"It's an election year. Biden has no intention of limiting the number of people coming here, let alone stopping asylees from gaming the system, but you've got to give his speechwriters some credit. They're trying to turn the tables on Republicans. That's hilarious," she added.

Ingraham also expressed skepticism about the sincerity of Biden's policies, suggesting that they are designed to manipulate public perception rather than effect real change.

"Everything the Democrats do between now and Election Day is designed for them to keep power," she asserted. "Our Constitution, our laws, norms — they always love to talk about norms — none of it matters to them, and neither does the suffering of the American people."

According to Ingraham, the Democrats' focus is not on solving problems but on securing their political future. She accused them of prioritizing their agenda over the well-being of the nation.

"It's about winning at all costs so that they can return to their primary objective: reordering America into a place that you won't recognize and where you won't want to live," she warned.

Social media deems Ingraham's claims 'obvious'"

Laura Ingraham's comments resonated with her viewers as several took to social media to share their reactions.

One viewer shared, "Wow no kidding. Riveting news never saw that coming! Blah blah blah!"

In a similar vein, another observer chimed in, "…power and enslaving Blacks and Latinos… it’s the Democratic way…" Moreover, a viewer highlighted, "We are warned."

Adding to the conversation, a follower contributed, "That's what politics is all about." A comment emphasized, "Duh…..isn’t’t that the point??" [sic]

Echoing this sentiment, another comment noted, "OK, and I put beer in a ice filled cooler to keep my beer cold. If it's obvious it ain't news." [sic]

Expanding on the topic, an individual elaborated further, saying, "The same can be said about the Republicans Laura. Wake up to that fact."
