WASHINGTON, D.C.: Laura Ingraham hailed Donald Trump’s State of the Union speech on X while slamming people who blamed the Republican leader for 'starting out slowly'.

The conservative television presenter wrote on X, “Everyone out there who said that Trump started out slowly didn’t understand that Trump knows a thing or two about pacing.  He was building up to this part of the speech.”

“If you’ve watched his rallies, you’ve seen this type of rhythm for the last decade,” she added.

He also slammed Democrats during the address while demanding'full and immediate restoration' of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) fund.

“As we speak, Democrats in this chamber have cut off all funding for the Department of Homeland Security. They have instituted another Democrat shutdown, the first one costing us 2 points on GDP,” the 79-year-old alleged.
