WASHINGTON, DC: Laura Ingraham has created a social media storm after gushing about Donald Trump, and claiming that the POTUS is anything but insecure.

While the 78-year-old president's confidence and bravado have been a subject of debate, 'The Ingraham Angle’ host has seemingly come to her conclusion.

During one of the recent episodes of her Fox News show, the 61-year-old journalist left no doubt about what she thinks about Trump. She declared that the “confident” president does not feel “threatened” to include Elon Musk in his cabinet meetings.

Laura Ingraham says Donald Trump is ‘confident’

As reported by The List, Laura Ingraham recently made her thoughts about President Trump's bravado clear on 'The Ingraham Angle’.

In a clip that went viral online, the Connecticut native shared, "Trump is so confident [in] what he knows, he is not at all threatened about bringing one of the smartest people in the world to work," referencing the commander-in-chief bringing in the megabillionaire Elon Musk to lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

The staunch Republican continued to shed light on the equation between Trump and Musk, saying, "A person who is insecure wouldn't want that. He's very secure."

While Ingraham did not shy away from voicing her opinion regarding Trump’s lack of insecurity, netizens were quick to puncture holes into the claim. Several social media users referenced how recently the president spiraled out over his portrait at the Colorado Capitol.

Calling the image “purposefully distorted,” the MAGA spearhead penned a lengthy post early morning on Sunday, March 23, calling for the removal of the portrait.

“Nobody likes a bad picture or painting of themselves, but the one in Colorado, in the State Capitol, put up by the Governor, along with all other Presidents, was purposefully distorted to a level that even I, perhaps, have never seen before,” wrote Trump.

Praising the artist’s portrayal of former president Barack Obama, Trump said, “The artist also did President Obama, and he looks wonderful, but the one on me is truly the worst.”

“She must have lost her talent as she got older,” noted the displeased president.

He further continued, “In any event, I would much prefer not having a picture than having this one, but many people from Colorado have called and written to complain. In fact, they are actually angry about it! I am speaking on their behalf to the Radical Left Governor, Jared Polis, who is extremely weak on Crime, in particular with respect to Tren de Aragua, which practically took over Aurora (Don’t worry, we saved it!), to take it down. Jared should be ashamed of himself!”

Following Trump's complaint about the portrait, the image was removed from the Colorado Capitol

Internet claps back at Laura Ingraham, calls Donald Trump 'most insecure person'

Though Laura Ingraham asserted that Donald Trump is confident, the internet was not ready to buy the claim. Some social media users referenced Trump throwing a fit after seeing the "worst portrait" of him at the Colorado Capitol, which led to its removal.

One wrote, "Yes, nothing says secure like demanding loyalty oaths and rage posting at 2 am."

Someone else chimed in, "So secure that they need to fawn over his secureness on air."

Another user noted, "Oh yeah, he's secure. Except for the painting that didn't meet his expectations. That totally crushed him."

"A fragile ego that keeps lashing out isn’t secure," noted someone else.

Someone else similarly pointed out the Colorado Capitol portrait debacle, writing, "He's so secure that he loves that portrait of him in the Colorado Capitol."

"Every thing he does SCREAMS insecurity...from his late night rage tweets to the way he shakes people's hands...to the ridiculous grade school nicknames he makes up...and, the piece de resistance...the portrait in the Colorado State House...he's a quivering mass of insecurity," noted another angry user.

Someone else pointed out, "She obviously doesn't believe a word she's saying. Nobody would."

"I would have thought Ingraham was smart enough to recognize deep seated narcissism in Trump, as well as Trump’s laziness. It’s not confidence," mused another netizen.

Someone else curtly penned, "Trump is Sooo insecure. Most bullies are."

"OMFG he demanded that an unflattering portrait be removed from a wall in Colorado. He can’t accept criticism of any kind. He’s a manbaby," castigated another.

A user wrote, "He is the most insecure person on the planet."
