WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump is thinking of using weight-loss drug Ozempic after slamming a painting of him that was on display at the State Capitol in Colorado.

The president felt that artist Sarah Boardman did a bad job and made him look like a “chubby white version of Barack Obama,” RadarOnline.com reported, citing sources. The painting was removed after Trump's rant.

However, he’s now planning to maintain his look. A tipster claimed, “Trump isn't impressed with the portrait, he ordered it to come down straight away.”

“He genuinely thought it made him look huge, and if that's what he really looks like, maybe Ozempic is the way to go,” they added.

Trump claimed his painting was ‘purposefully distorted’

This came as the 78-year-old leader took to Truth Social to blast the portrait, which was put on display on Sunday, March 23.

He posted, “Nobody likes a bad picture or painting of themselves, but the one in Colorado, in the State Capitol, put up by the Governor, along with all other Presidents, was purposefully distorted to a level that even I, perhaps, have never seen before.”

Trump continued that Boardman “did President Obama, and he looks wonderful, but the one (of) me is truly the worst. She must have lost her talent as she got older.”

“In any event, I would much prefer not having a picture than having this one, but many people from Colorado have called and written to complain. In fact, they are actually angry about it,” he added.

Trump called out Jared Polis

Not only that, Trump also lashed out at governor of Colorado, Jared Polis.

“I am speaking on their behalf to the Radical Left Governor, Jared Polis, who is extremely weak on Crime, in particular with respect to Tren de Aragua, which practically took over Aurora (Don’t worry, we saved it!), to take it down,” he wrote, referring to the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.

“Jared should be ashamed of himself,” Trump asserted.

Besides, many Republicans agreed with him but the Democrats said, "If the GOP wants to spend time and money on which portrait of Trump hangs in the Capitol, then that's up to them."

Sarah Boardman calls her art ‘thoughtful’

Meanwhile, the British-born portrait maker has defended herself by saying, “My portrait of President Trump has been called thoughtful, non-confrontational, not angry, not happy, not tweeting.”

She also explained that in “five, 10, 15, 20 years, he will be another president on the wall who has only historical background, and he needs to look neutral.”
