FEASTERVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA: Fox News' morning program, 'Fox & Friends,' dedicated time on Monday, October 21, to commend Donald Trump's promotional event at a McDonald's.

One host compared the photos of the Republican figurehead—clad in a McDonald's apron distributing fries—to the "iconic" images of Trump raising his fist following an injury from an assassination attempt in July.

'Fox & Friends' hosts praise Donald Trump’s McDonald's fry cooker stint

On Sunday, October 20, the former president took on the role of a fry cook and drive-thru attendant, dropping french fries and serving food to supporters vetted by the Secret Service at a McDonald's franchise in Feasterville-Trevose, Pennsylvania.

During the unusual incident, those served by Trump did not place orders but accepted whatever he provided, as noted by The Washington Post.

The trolling campaign aimed to highlight Trump's unsubstantiated claim that Vice President Kamala Harris never worked at a McDonald's in the Washington, DC area during her college years, contrary to her assertions.

“What a moment,” Fox & Friends co-host Lawrence Jones commented after airing a clip of Trump distributing a paper bag filled with fast food to two fans.

Jones' colleague, Brian Kilmeade, remarked that Trump appeared so enthusiastic that it wouldn't be surprising if he decided to work at the fast-food restaurant again, “He likes sales, that’s one. Number two: He likes to stay busy. He loves the pace. I wouldn’t be surprised if he picks up shifts.”

Jones remarked that these images deserve to be placed alongside the well-known photos and videos of Trump raising his fist, with blood running down his face, following the assassination attempt on him during a July rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

“Look at this photo right here, Brian,” he told his co-host. “You’ve got the assassination attempt which has become an iconic photo of him saying ‘fight, fight, fight.’ But you got a billionaire waving from a McDonald’s drive-thru window. Just add this to the list.”

Ainsley Earhardt, co-host of 'Fox & Friends,' expressed how touching it was to witness Trump don an apron and operate the fry machine.

“Wasn’t it kind of touching when he walked into the McDonald’s and there’s the lady who is giving him the apron and then there is the young man who is trying to help him with the fry machine?” she said.

Donald Trump’s McDonald’s photo sparks mockery

The comparison between Trump’s assassination photo and his image waving from the McDonald's window was met with mockery on Facebook.

A user said, "Yep iconic. Iconically stupid, just like all the other PR stunts the Mango moronic menace stages."

Another added, "The most embarrassing staged photo op ever...so far."

A person commented, "Where's secret service how is hanging his head outside of a window with no protection."

"Thats Trump new job in prison!" claimed a critic.

Another said, "Next he’ll take on the coloring book and try to stay in the lines."

A user wrote, "See the fake, forced smile? He has been told to smile. This whole thing was about “owning Kamala” even though the MAGAS insist on spreading the lie that Vice President Kamala Harris “didn’t work at McDonald’s” truth is she did. The Felon is desperate and unhinged. #VoteBlue."
