FORMENTERA, SPAIN: Leonardo DiCaprio was trolled by netizens after photographs of him collecting plastic waste off the coast of Formentera in Spain surfaced on social media platforms.
The 50-year-old actor is reportedly working on an upcoming environmental documentary along with children, focusing on Posidonia oceanica.
Photos of 'Killers of the Flower Moon' star clearing garbage was also shared in a carousel by the pop culture account Deuxmoi on Instagram, along with the caption, "Leonardo DiCaprio spotted off the coast of Formentera, as he joins a group of children in an effort to collect plastic waste as part of an upcoming environmental documentary."

Leonardo DiCaprio has long been a vocal environmental activist and created the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation to support organizations and initiatives dedicated to securing a sustainable future in 1998, according to the World Wide Fund (WWF).
