LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Leonardo DiCaprio celebrated his 50th birthday in West Hollywood on Saturday, November 9, with an extravagant party that drew harsh condemnation from several of his neighbors.

Leonardo DiCaprio's A-list birthday celebration irked his fellow neighbors for 'loud party'
The Academy Award winner had a party at his Los Angeles home on Saturday, November 9, two days before he formally reached the milestone age, to celebrate with his loved ones.
Even though the party's interior was filled with clinking drinks and laughing, the situation outside was a very different tale. Disgruntled locals gathered next to the valet, annoyed by the number of visitors and the resulting traffic jams on their normally peaceful street.
"People are driving over my private property, my neighbor's private property. If there are damages here, who's responsible?" a man who was upset said to a woman in a long green jacket.
The man bemoaned, "Somebody just hit my car, ran over my front lawn," indicating that some visitors damaged property besides contributing to the created commotion.
Fox News Digital's footage showed the locals addressing security guards, voicing their annoyance, and requesting that the partygoers behave themselves.
The lengthy queue of automobiles attempting to navigate the area or arrive at the party is visible as the resident is led down the street by guys wearing security jackets.
Several engines rumble in the distance. "They keep going in and out, and somebody almost hit my car a minute ago," the resident added as he approached his driveway.
The video turned to a second younger male in the valet area who was equally unhappy. According to an insider, the event's valet was situated far from the party's real location.
Another young man appeared on camera slamming his door, approaching the chaos outside, and requesting the management in an attempt to understand what was happening. He became irate when someone advised that he contact the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
The LAPD confirmed to the news outlet that two complaints of a "loud party" were filed at 10.11 pm on Saturday and after midnight on Sunday, respectively, from the area of the birthday celebration for the 'Titanic' star.
Despite the chaos, it seemed DiCaprio took the initiative to inform locals about the celebration in advance, maybe to reduce unexpected reactions and complaints.
According to a Fox News source, although a heads-up was given, the scenario was not at all what many expected.
