Kim Kardashian slammed as she keeps a close eye on daughter North West during interview about debut album

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's 10-year-old daughter, North West, was interviewed about her upcoming debut album, 'Elementary School Dropout', after her performance at 2024 Rolling Loud on Thursday, March 14.

The video was swiftly shared by Jazzy, who conducted the interview, with the caption, "#NorthWest talks about her new album & collabs to expect 🎶. Thank you Ms. @kimkardashian for helping out."

When asked what one can expect from her debut album, North remarked, "It’s going to be great." Subsequently, Jazzy inquired, "When is [the album] going to drop?" to which the young artist responded, "Like … I don’t know."

Answering about a possible collaboration with her father, Kanye, with a bit of hesitation, North said, "Maybe, we don’t know yet!"

TMZ shared a behind-the-scenes clip from the interview, where the interviewer Jazzy, and North's mother, Kim, can be seen chatting, as per PEOPLE Magazine.

North made her debut album announcement during a listening party for Kanye's album, 'Vultures 2', in Phoenix, Arizona.

The 10-year-old told the crowd, "I've been working on an album," and revealed its name, 'Elementary School Dropout', which apparently echoes her father's 2004 album ‘The College Dropout.’

On Thursday, North joined Kanye and her cousin, Penelope Disick, to perform 'Talking' from 'Vultures 1' at Rolling Loud.

Internet questions Kim Kardashian's parenting choices

One user wrote on Facebook, "And for the love of God keep this kid out of the spotlight. She’s going to end up just like her dad. Out of control." Another said, "Wow the title unbelievable. Let her be a child." 

"Well Kim learned from her mom about being a momager," quipped a person.

Someone else expressed, "Why not take it a step further? preschool dropout? Or better yet, let’s just throw education out the window. It’s cool to blow off hard work and learning, right?"

They added, "I mean…. Why can’t these people understand that they are influencing children (whether we want them to or not). I’m sure it’s just a harmless title but I still think we should be more cognizant of impressionable youth…. And adults."
