"I live from today. My life every day is a new day. I live looking forward towards the future. I live without regrets," she said.
After years of navigating the highs and lows of public life, Lohan is clear about her next steps.
"Absolutely everything I do [now] is in line with my values," she shared, according to People.
The actress plans to expand her career by producing projects she loves and focusing on her own business.
"Starting my own business and producing more things that I love are part of where I want my future to take me," said Lohan.
Lindsay Lohan reflects on Hollywood and moving forward
Lindsay Lohan’s decision to relocate to Dubai and step away from Hollywood was deeply personal.
Earlier this year, she told Bustle about how the negative scrutiny she faced as a young actress overshadowed her work.
"I wish that part didn’t happen," Lohan admitted, adding, "That kind of took on a life of its own."
"So that’s why I wanted to disappear. I was like, ‘Unless there’s no story here, they’re not going to focus on just my work,’" she shared.
Despite her candidness, Lohan said she is not ready to release a tell-all book or documentary about her life just yet.
"My story isn’t finished. When I’m ready and I accomplish all of the things I want to accomplish, then I’ll maybe consider doing it," she explained.
Lindsay Lohan's upcoming projects
