PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Senator Lindsey Graham hails President Donald Trump following his golf outing on Sunday, February 8. A regular at Trump International Golf Club, Graham shared a photo on X featuring the president alongside Senator Eric Schmitt.

He was seen wearing a red T‑shirt and a white USA hat with gold lettering during the outing and is expected to spend the weekend in Palm Beach County hosting a Super Bowl watch party at Mar‑a‑Lago before returning on Sunday.



Lindsey Graham applauds Trump on golf and upcoming Super Bowl watch party

In his post, Graham said, "Great round of golf with Senator Eric Schmitt and 47." He added a personal commendation of Trump’s abilities: "47 played extremely well. Very good golfer, a better President. Reagan Plus."

Graham has previously expressed his admiration for Trump following golf outings. Reflecting on one such event, he posted, "What a great day playing golf with President Trump! So much fun today at the Trump Graham Golf Classic, that will benefit the Republican cause greatly."

He further said, "President Donald Trump was very generous with his time and I appreciate all who made this hugely successful. Thank you, Mr. President."

Graham has also joked about his golf outings with Trump, writing, “Oh, by the way: the golf team of @POTUS, Sen. @RandPaul, and I defeated the duo of @SenEricSchmitt and @CIADirector.” He further added with humor, “Proud to announce no casualties. A lot of fun!, Big Beautiful Bill on the way.”

Trump and first lady Melania Trump are also scheduled to host a Super Bowl watch party at Mar‑a‑Lago, according to the schedule released Saturday by the White House. Trump is friends with New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and quarterback Tom Brady. When asked Friday if he had a prediction on which team would win the Vince Lombardi Trophy, the president remained noncommittal, saying, "I better not get involved."

Trump endorses Lindsey Graham ahead of 2026 re-election

The president recently endorsed the lawmaker, describing him as "a wonderful friend," as Graham, who has served in the Senate for more than two decades, prepares to run for re-election in 2026.

"Senator Lindsey Graham is working incredibly hard for the Great People of South Carolina, a State I love and WON BIG in 2016, 2020, and 2024! As the Chair of the Senate Budget Committee, Lindsey is fighting tirelessly to Grow the Economy, Lower Taxes, and Eliminate Government Waste," Trump declared in a Truth Social post.

"Lindsey is also relentlessly focused on helping us Secure the Border, Stop Migrant Crime, Strongly Support our Great Military/Vets, Promote American Energy DOMINANCE, Defend our always under siege Second Amendment, and ensure PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH," he continued.

Following Trump’s message, Lindsey shared a post on X, "Trump’s endorsement means the world to me. I am humbled by his faith in me as a Senator and as a friend. On a professional level, I am proud to have been there at the beginning when President Trump — through sheer force of will —achieved the greatest political comeback in American history."

He continued, "On a personal level, I genuinely enjoy our friendship. He’s an awesome golfing buddy, who I have yet to beat. I look forward to being one of the driving forces in the US Senate to enact President Trump’s agenda to make America more prosperous and more secure. Thank you, Mr. President."
