Lizzo pleads for court records to be sealed in alleged sexual harassment case to 'avoid any harm'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Lizzo has requested a court to seal the contents of the documents of the lawsuit filed against her after she was accused of sexual harassment.
The rapper has requested this because there are “documents, correspondence, and testimony that contain sensitive, confidential information and/or proprietary business information, including employee compensation, contract negotiation, and third-party sensitive contact information,” Radar Online reported.

Her attorneys have claimed that “these records, including portions of Declarations in support of the Motion and attached exhibits, should be ordered sealed to avoid any harm to the parties through their public disclosure.”

The ‘Truth Hurts’ singer’s representatives also reportedly stated that they pled for the non-disclosure of the papers to “protect” their “interests in the privacy of confidential business information and to protect sensitive, confidential information related to third parties, by keeping these documents out of the public record.”
Lizzo was accused of 'harassing' and 'bullying' dancers and background vocalists
This came after Lizzo was sued by dancers Arianna Davis, Noelle Rodriguez, and Crystal Williams.
The accusers also sued the 35-year-old’s dance captain Shirlene Quigley, claiming that the work culture was hostile and abusive.
Daniels told NBC News, “I was listening to this Black woman on this huge stage have this message of self-love and caring for others and being empathetic and being strong and standing up for others,” referring to Lizzo, continuing, "And I was witnessing myself, the dancers and the background vocalists and my local team in every city be harassed and bullied regularly."
Lizzo has been accused of creating 'sexualized and racially charged environment' on tours
The 35-year-old Daniels also added, “Black women deserve to work in spaces where we feel safe, where we aren’t being harassed, where we aren’t being sexualized. We’re allowed to just be great and work hard, and be treated the way that everyone else is allowed to be treated.”
Ron Zambrano, who is representing the alleged victims, alleged that Lizzo “has created a sexualized and racially charged environment on her tours that her management staff sees as condoning such behavior, and so it continues unchecked.”
Lizzo's dancer defends singer amid lawsuit
However, other current dancers of the ‘Pink’ hitmaker have supported her, with one of them, Alaini Walker, reportedly claiming, “In my experience, there was absolutely no body shaming on tour.”
“I have experienced racial discrimination, sexual harassment, and body shaming in this industry, but never while working with Lizzo. In fact, Lizzo’s tour felt like the opposite of many negative experiences I have had as a dancer,” she added.
