Lizzo told her fans in a 'What I Eat in a Day' video shared in October on social media that it was "one of the healthiest diets in the world and it has some of my favorite foods."

She added that she believed "the vegan diet is the healthiest diet" but her new eating plan had "helped me reach my goals and helped me feel good in my body."

Lizzo and her mother had a bit of fun on their way to their night out. In the video posted on Instagram, she added audio from an episode of 'The Kardashians' beneath it.

Lizzo’s weight loss journey

The singer posted photos in a Halloween costume on October 26, parodying the diabetes drug Ozempic. She wore a fake FDA-approved box labeled 'diet suppressor' which was cinched at the waist with a yellow measuring tape, according to Women's Health Magazine.

The costume was a reference to a May episode of 'South Park' where Eric Cartman's doctor prescribed him a cheaper alternative to Ozempic or Mounjaro. In another couple of posts, she dances with an inflatable Cartman and eats a piece of pizza.

Lizzo's weight loss journey goes back to 2023 when she told her followers that while she's been "taking the physical part [of her career] more seriously" in recent months, she's "not trying to escape fatness."

She said in a May 2023 video, "I've always loved moving my body. I've always loved working out. I'm very holistically conscious—like I am very hippie-dippie and woo woo when it comes to food and supplements and just thinking about my body and the environment."

She added, "I think a lot of people see a fat person that way and immediately just assume everything they're doing is to be thin. I'm not tryna be thin. I don't ever want to be thin."
