The footage led to accusations on social media that Paul may have deliberately pushed the dog to create sensational content.

In response, Paul shared a slow-motion version of the video, asserting that Broley jumped independently without being pushed.

In the recently viral video, a dog appears to be enjoying a boat ride before unexpectedly falling overboard. Some viewers have pointed out two hands visible behind the dog just before it falls into the water, suggesting it might have been deliberately pushed.

Logan Paul has countered the claim, stating that the hands visible in the video were simply reaching out to pet the dog and help steady it.

In response to the allegations, Paul shared a screenshot of his statement from four years ago, which read, “We would NEVER, EVER, EVER, push broley off the boat. he jumped and a hand was behind him, petting him, and when he jumped, we attempted to grab him but FOR A FACT we did not push him. watch his body language and you can very evidently see a self induced, independent jump from the little mut. thanks for coming to my Ted talk.” [sic]



 

However, sharing the video did not have the intended effect. Instead of reducing the backlash, it heightened the criticism. Viewers scrutinized the footage more closely, with many claiming that it clearly showed a hand pushing the dog off the boat, as reported by The Express Tribune.

Logan Paul's efforts to clarify the situation appeared to backfire, leading to increased outrage among fans who questioned his actions and integrity.

Despite his strong denial and explanation that the hand in the video was merely petting Broley, the backlash intensified, with many remaining skeptical of his defense.

A user wrote, "This Is DISGUSTING Logan Paul or someone from his crew putting his dog in danger just for content... (hard to tell who touches the dog) Acting as if it 'jumped' when you can clearly see a hand push the dog. What a f**king scumbag."



 

Another added, "@LoganPaul is a piece of s**t who scams people and tries to kill his own dog."



 

The third commentator remarked, "No vest on the dog for safety, no one making an effort to pull him from the edge, but someone sure was making an effort to film... F**k you @LoganPaul you coward a** little b**ch."
