LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Actor Eugene Levy—got to reunite with his 'American Pie' co-star Jason Biggs—while receiving his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday, March 8, solidifying his status as a comedy icon.

Although Daniel Levy was unable to attend, his father Eugene Levy's Hollywood Walk of Fame induction on Friday, Eugene's 'second son' was present to witness the honoree's speech.

Jason Biggs portrayed James 'Jim' Levenstein, Eugene's son, in the 'American Pie' movies, beginning with the 1999 comedy.

Eugene Levy addresses Jason Biggs' at Walk of Fame ceremony

The 77-year-old actor and comedian greeted Jason who was present at the ceremony as he made an appearance on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles on Friday for his Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony.

While receiving the accolade, Eugene said: "My son Daniel couldn't be here today, sadly. He's shooting a movie in Bulgaria, and tell me that doesn't sound like an episode right out of Schitt's Creek, but it's true. My second son, Jim, is here, from American Pie."

He continued, speaking of 45-year-old Jason, "I love the fact you're here, Jason, honestly."

Jason looked stunning in a navy suit with a powder blue shirt and no tie, flashing his winning smile for the cameras.

In the wild franchise's 1999 debut, Eugene played the father of Jason's 'American Pie' character Jim. He has continued to play the same part in several follow-ups over the years, most recently showing up in 2012's 'American Reunion', per PEOPLE.

Eugene and Jason co-starred in the series alongside Tara Reid, Seann William Scott, Chris Klein, Alyson Hannigan, Natasha Lyonne, Thomas Ian Nicholas, and others. The original film centers on high school teenagers trying to get over their virginity in time for graduation.

'Schitt's Creek' co-star Catherine O'Hara praises Eugene Levy

Eugene Levy also reconnected with Catherine O'Hara, his on-screen wife from 'Schitt's Creek,' at the Hollywood ceremony, where she delivered a statement in honor of her friend.

Eugene and Catherine portrayed a married couple on the well-known sitcom 'Schitt's Creek' for eight seasons which Eugene co-created with his son and co-star Dan Levy, per Daily Mail.

Their professional association dates back to the 1970s when they were both members of the SCTV (Second City Television) sketch comedy troupe. They have collaborated on popular films for decades, such as 'Best In Show,' 'Waiting For Guffman,' and 'For Your Consideration.'

The Lemony Snicket's 'A Series Of Unfortunate Events' actress added: "He's obviously funny but he's not afraid to laugh at himself. Most of his self-effacing jokes are aimed at the fact that he thinks he's not funny at all, which is ridiculous."

Fans praise Eugene Levy for receiving Hollywood Walk of Fame star

Social media users took to X (formerly Twitter) to applaud Eugene for receiving the coveted accolade, with one user saying, "SCTV legend. Congratulations!"

A second user hailed the actor and said, "Royalty finally getting his star. Long overdue," while a third one added, "Congrats! In your honor, I should watch armed and dangerous today."

Another one added, "I'm going to sit down and watch "A Mighty Wind" again this weekend. I've always enjoyed the humor in everything Eugene Levy has done throughout his career.
