'Looks like young David Beckham': Justin Bieber’s new wax statue unveiled on his 30th birthday leaves Internet confused

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Wax Museum chain Madame Tussauds Hollywood extraordinarily celebrated Justin Bieber’s birthday by adding his statue to their collection.

The singer turned 30 on March 1 and was honored by the wax museum, as per E! Online.

The ‘Baby’ singer's sculpture is dressed in a puffer jacket and a pair of neon pants along with a white beanie. Not just that, the creators have also added Bieber’s neck tattoos and facial hair to give it a more realistic look.

Madame Tussauds shared the photos on its Instagram page with a caption that said, “Justin Bieber’s 30th birthday candles aren’t the only thing wax here. Bieber’s brand-new wax figure has taken the stage at Madame Tussauds Hollywood! Send JB your birthday wishes below!”

However, the people on the internet were not quite happy with the outcome.

The statue has confused people as an Instagram user which ended up in a flurry of comments.

A user wrote, “This looks like him but not much like him at the same time… ”

“They had a problem with the nose, but the rest was fine,” stated another comment.

A different individual chimed in, “Another miss… it’s so weird how they can create one like the one for Angela Basset and then this one or the one for JLo.”

Another one read, “This is way more attractive than real Justin.”

“But why does he look like Brooklyn Beckham ,” shared someone else.

There were some comments on Facebook as well. “Looks like Liam Payne & Justin Bieber merged together,” a person expressed, while another one said, “Kinda looks like a Young David Beckham, not The Biebs At all.”

“It doesn't even look much like him. It looks like a cross between young David Beckham and jb,” another added.

This came after Stephen Baldwin pleaded on the internet, asking for prayers for his daughter Hailey and son-in-law, Bieber. He posted a now-disappeared Instagram story with a video by religious leader Victor Marx online.

The text over the clip said, “Christians, please when you think of Justin & Hailey, take a moment to offer a little prayer for them to have wisdom, protection and to draw close to the Lord.”

Though Marx’s video also seemed to be deleted from his page, it affected people at the time with one asking, “What happened? Are they okay?”

Another one said, “Covering them both in prayer! Heavenly Father, open their ears to hear what Your word has to say. Protect them, guide them & give them the confidence to be bold in their faith, to You. In Jesus’ name.”
